by Jake Johnson

Elmira N.Y.-The man known as “Wild Thing” is back in Elmira. Former Alternate Captain Noah Wild has signed a PTO and will be back playing at First Arena this season. Wild had an unfortunate start last year breaking his wrist just 2 games into his tenure with the Mammoth, he would finally return in January after an 8-week recovery. In 31 games, the Naples, Florida native had 3 goals and 10 assists. Wild was also an important piece on the Mammoth penalty kill.

Coach Maerkl on bringing back Wild “Noah is a huge leader and a player that younger kids look up to, we are so happy to have a fan favorite back here at First Arena. He was the heart and soul of the club last year and brings experience with him. We are stoked that he will be back playing for us this year.”

Noah is back for another campaign looking to raise the Commissioners Cup for the first time in his career, he is looking to bring his leadership to this young group of players in the Twin Tiers. Continue to check back on social media for more player announcements throughout the off season.
