Steven Ford Re-Signs with Elmira

Elmira N.Y.- After joining the team from SUNY Morrisville last season Steven Ford is back for a full year with Elmira. In 5 games played the hybrid forward/defenseman had 4 assists. Hailing from Richardson, Texas, the 25 year old looks to step right back into action at First Arena. 

Head Coach Tyler Gjurich on the return of Ford, “ Steven is a guy who knows his role and plays it very well, he is a guy who can give us a ton of minutes, he works well on the penalty kill and is willing to eat a bunch of shots to help out our netminders, he is a goalies best friend.” 

Ford is joining the list of a bunch of former Mammoth players that called the Twin Tiers home last season as the roster continues to fill out. Keep a look out for more player announcements each day.
