Stavros Soilis Returns

Elmira N.Y.- Set and ready to return for another season, Stavros Soilis has re-signed to play in Elmira for the upcoming season. Soilis was a mainstay in the Mammoth lineup last season, he played in 45 games and had a career high in points. 13 goals and 22 assists for 35 points, he also tallied a career high in PIMS, 138. The 5’10” Quebec native has played in the FPHL since 2019, he has played for Danbury, Battle Creek, Port Huron and Elmira. Soilis wore an A on his sweater last season for the purple and orange. 

Head Coach Tyler Gjurich on having Soilis back in Elmira “Stavros is a skilled forward that can find the back of the net, he also has a special grit and toughness that you want in a player. He showed his ability to score last year and also protect his teammates. We are excited to see him back this year.”
