Sharks Sign Brandon Lucchesi
Elmira N.Y.- The Elmira River Sharks have signed 6’1” forward Brandon Lucchesi for the upcoming season. The 23-year-old Woodbridge Ontario, native last played for the Delaware Thunder in 2021-2022. In 36 games Lucchesi tallied 16 goals and 12 assists during his time in Harrington. Prior to his time in the FPHL the forward played in the OJHL for the Mississauga Chargers for two seasons. In 41 games he netted 5 goals and had 7 assists.
Head Coach Tyler Gjurich on the recent signing “Brandon is a two way forward who is always a threat to score. He brings a great mix of physicality, skill and leadership to our lineup. We cannot wait to get him to Elmira.”
The River Sharks add another skilled and tough forward to the lineup as the countdown continues to opening night. The Sharks will open the season against the Wolves for an exhibition game.
