River Sharks Add Foti to Camp Roster
Today the Elmira River Sharks of the Federal Prospects Hockey League are proud to announce they have signed Forward Santino Foti to their roster.
Foti, a 23-year-old from Mississauga, ONT spent time last year with the Watertown Wolves. In 11 games Santino put up 8 points (3 goals and 5 assists) with all three of his goals coming against Elmira last season. Before entering the FPHL, Foti spent three seasons with the North York Renegades in the GMHL. In 114 regular season games Santino put up 223 points (104 goals and 119 assists) while adding another 36 points in just 21 playoff games. In addition to his ability to put up points Foti always played a physical game with 223 penalty minutes in his time in North York.
“Santino set records for his team in the North York with 109 points in 36 games and we look forward to seeing what he can add here in Elmira. After getting a taste of FPHL action last year and having the success he had in this building, we are looking forward to what Santino brings to our team this season.” Coach Tyler Gjurich said about the signing.
