River Sharks Add Broadcaster/Front Office Vet

ELMIRA,NY – Today the Elmira River Sharks of the Federal Prospects Hockey League are proud to announce they have hired a new team Broadcaster/Director of Media Relations/ Special Assistant to the Owner in Jonathan Kliment.

"Elmira was a truly special market to me and when the chance to come back and help out with the new organization came up it was something I felt I had to do. When I left here a couple of years ago we had done a lot of things and done them well, but we never did hang a championship banner. I was told that was a goal for this franchise and I am excited to be a part of it." Kliment said.

Kliment brings a wealth of experience to the new organization. After three seasons with the FPHL's Elmira Enforcers Jon served as the Vice President of Communications and Broadcasting for the SPHL's Vermilion County Bobcats. The last year Jon has been in Baton Rouge aiding with a new pro hockey team coming back to that market before going on to broadcast his 300^th pro game in Macon with the SPHL’s Macon Mayhem where he has been working the past 7 months.. Kliment graduated with a Bachelor’s and Master’s from Full Sail University in Sports Management and Marketing after completing American Broadcasting School. Jon spent four years as a broadcaster for SUNY Broome and Binghamton University’s hockey programs before serving as a Color Analyst for the CWHL’s Boston Blades whilehe participated in an internship with the AHL's Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in Media Relations.

In addition to his on-air role, which will be for all games both home and road giving Elmira coverage whenever the River Sharks take the ice next season, Kliment will also be working in a Sales role with the organization as well helping out with Corporate partnerships immediately and will also be added as a Special Assistant to the Owner handling front office and hockey operations roles.
