River Sharks Acquire Cameron Yarwood
Elmira N.Y.- The Elmira River Sharks and Binghamton Black Bears have come to a trade agreement to send Cameron Yarwood to Elmira and Noah Wild to Binghamton. Yarwood is very familiar to First Arena as he played two seasons for the Elmira Enforcers in 2018-2019 and 2019-2020.
Yarwood spent his last two seasons playing just down I-86 for the black and green. He played in 58 career games finishing with 16 goals and 45 assists. He looks to bring an offensive touch into the back 6 for Elmira this season. He will join former Black Bears Geno DeAngelo, Erik Oganezov, Assistant Coach M.J. Maerkl and Head Coach Tyler Gjurich in Elmira.
Cameron Yarwood will also be the Skills Coach and Assistant Coach for the Elmira Impact, the Junior team that plays at First Arena. Both the Impact and River Sharks will be working hand and hand all season long to bring an exciting product of hockey back to the Twin Tiers and make a big community impact.
Noah Wild wore the A last season for the Mammoth and finished with 3 goals and 7 assists in 31 games played. We wish nothing but the best to Noah as he heads down the road to play for the I-86 rivals. Noah has been a true leader in the community and we want his success in Binghamton.
