Owen Porter Signs with River Sharks

Elmira N.Y.- The River Sharks have signed defenseman Owen Porter. Porter is a 6’1” 21 year old that hails from Toronto, Ontario. Porter last played in the OJHL for the Markham Royals, in 52 games played the lefty d-man tallied 17 assists, Prior to the OJHL, Porter played in 14 games in the NOJHL for the Hearst Lumberjacks. He lit the lamp twice and had 3 apples. 

    This is the third straight defenseman the sharks have signed in as many days. They continue to bolster the back end of their lineup as they get set for their opening game against the Watertown Wolves on October 10th, the home opener will be the 13th against the Binghamton Black Bears.
