Matthew Reyes Signs with Sharks

Elmira N.Y.- Matthew Reyes is proof that sharks live in Oklahoma, the former University of Oklahoma Defenseman has signed to play with the Elmira River Sharks for the upcoming season. Reyes plays out of Delta, British Columbia, the 26-year-old 6’1” Defenseman last played for the University of Oklahoma ACHA. In 3 seasons Reyes played 62 games finishing with 2 goals and 10 assists. Reyes was a teammate with current Elmira River Shark Bryan Gowin in his time in the WSHL in 2016-2017. 

Reyes is another strong defensive addition to the River Sharks; Elmira continues to add as they look to roll into the season at First Arena. The season begins on October 10th with an exhibition game against the Watertown Wolves, the regular season will start October 13th at home against the Binghamton Black Bears. Get your tickets now.
