Kodiak Whiteduck Signs with River Sharks

Elmira N.Y.- The Elmira River Sharks have signed Kodiak Whiteduck for the upcoming season. Whiteduck hails from Maniwaki. The 24-year-old 6’1” Forward has played for 2 teams in the FPHL, first for the Mentor Ice Breakers and two separate stints with the Danbury Hat Tricks. Last season for Danbury he had 1 goal in 9 games played. In 2021 Whiteduck played in 43 games, he tallied 5 goals and 11 assists. 


Head Coach Tyler Gjurich on the signing, “Kodiak is a versatile player and someone who plays hard, he also plays with a toughness that we want to have in our lineup. We are excited to have him as a member of the River Sharks.”


Whiteduck is a newcomer to the River Sharks lineup and will join the likes of Grant-Mentis, Asp, Fritz and Kozlowski as new players sporting an Elmira sweater this upcoming season.
