Jelenskis Re-Signs

Elmira N.Y.- Back for some more, Ricards Jelenskis has re-signed to play in Elmira for the upcoming campaign. Jelenskis is a 22 year old from Latvia who played 27 games last year split between Elmira and Columbus. In Columbus, Jelenskis had 6 goals and 3 assists. In 24 games for the Mammoth Jelenskis found the net 6 times and had 4 apples. He also found twine in the opening playoff game against Danbury. 

Head Coach Tyler Gjuirch on Jelenskis “ He is a tough player to face and I am glad I now get to coach him rather than face him, He has incredible skill and a dangerous shot. He is also a very young forward and has fantastic talent, we are so excited to have him back in our lineup this season.” 

With “Jelly” now back in the lineup, Elmira adds another true difference maker to the Twin Tiers this year. The lineup continues to bolster up as the new ownership gets set for the 2023-2024 season.
