Elmira Adds 3 in Dispersal Draft
Elmira N.Y.- The Delaware Dispersal draft took place this afternoon and Elmira acquired a forward, defenseman and a net minder from the Delaware Thunder. Marquis Grant-Mentis, Rasmus Asp, and Spencer Kozlowski will take their talents to First Arena this fall.
Grant-Mentis is a 5’8”, 24 year old forward out of Brampton, Ontario. Last season in just 21 games, he tallied 12 goals and 12 assists for 24 points. The speedy forward looks to bring some scoring to Elmira.
Hailing from Stockholm, Sweden. Rasmus Asp is a 23 year old, 6’4” defenseman. Asp will look to bring his size and physicality to the back 6 for Elmira. In 25 games, Asp had 5 goals and 7 assists last year.
Manning the net will be Spencer Kozlowski, from Vancouver, BC. Kozlowski played 14 games for Delaware, he had just under a .900 SV%, at .897. Prior to the FPHL, the 26 year old played 5 seasons at New England College in Division 3 NCAA.
Elmira is excited to add some speed, physicality, strong and intelligent players from Delaware to the club.
