Elijah Wilson Signs with Sharks
Elmira N.Y.- After being acquired in a trade from the Watertown Wolves, Elijah Wilson has signed with the Elmira River Sharks for the upcoming season. Wilson hails from Muskegon, Michigan and played last season for the Watertown Wolves, in 42 games the 5’11” forward had 17 goals and 23 assists.
Head Coach Tyler Gjurich on the signing “He is the type of guy you need to be a winning team. Elijah is a skilled forward who will play at both ends of the ice, he also has a knack for finding the back of the net. He brings a level of physicality that we need in our lineup on a game-to-game basis. We are very excited to have him joining us in Elmira.”
The Countdown is here as we are 79 days away from Opening Night, the River Sharks will face off with the Binghamton Black Bears on October 13th. The first action will be October 10th against the Watertown Wolves in an exhibition game.
